Seda Saar
Seda B. Saar is a Los Angeles-based artist working in light. Through painting and sculpture — pigmented acrylic, mirrored acrylic, and reflective materials — she creates work that changes with the movement of the viewer and the hour of the day. Her practice is rooted in the California Light and Space tradition, extending it into the civic and transit spaces most people actually inhabit. Her public commissions include Pacific Passage at San Diego International Airport (2025–2026) and Celestial Blueprints at Hollywood Burbank Airport (2026). Her work is held in collections in Japan, Armenia, Chicago, and Los Angeles. She is a 2026 Artist-in-Residence at Camera Obscura Art Lab, Santa Monica.
